Fans of the late superstar and fashion icon Anna Nicole Smith will be delighted to know there’s a new capsule collection coming soon that bears the beauty’s likeness.
Anna Nicole was one of the most famous faces (and bods) of the Guess Jeans campaigns in the ’90s. Her voluptuous blonde bombshell persona was perfect for the line’s classic American denim styles, and she became synonymous with the brand. Now, Guess Jeans U.S.A. has partnered with artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt for a two-piece capsule collection called “DID YOU MISS ME?” The answer is a resounding “Yes. Yes, we did, Anna Nicole.”
The Guess Jeans U.S.A. line is designed in Los Angeles and draws from the Guess archives of the ’80s and ’90s for inspiration as well as Los Angeles and Hollywood imagery. Guess Jeans frequently collaborates with artists and influencers including A$AP Rocky. The brand previously worked with contemporary artist, designer, photographer, and director Cali Thornhill DeWitt on a billboard campaign to promote his solo exhibit. DeWitt currently has a solo exhibition called SAFE WORDS at the Karma International Los Angeles. You may have seen his designs on the merch for Kanye’s “The Life of Pablo” Tour.
When Guess called, DeWitt knew exactly which muse to call on. The artist said in a press release sent to HelloGiggles,
The two pieces in the capsule are gender neutral and feature an image of Anna Nicole from an original 1992 Guess campaign. The items include a t-shirt for $90 and a hooded sweatshirt for $170. Both are available in black and white. On the back, it reads “Did You Miss Me?” in red lettering.
