Amanda Seyfried's outfit reminds us of the culottes of our youth
Amanda Seyfried is currently at the Venice Film Festival for her film First Reformed, which is in competition, but what we’re truly fangirling over is her culotte ensemble that totally reminds us of our youth.
Do you remember wearing short culottes that look like a skirt on the outside, but BAM on the inside it’s a pair of secret shorts? It was the approved way to wear a skirt to school and still kill at dodgeball.
Seyfried’s look is the grown-up version of the culotte we remember from the ’90s, and we’re desperately scouring the internet trying to find one like it.
Granted, Seyfried’s ensemble is Valentino, but doesn’t it remind you of this?
We found a few similar culotte dresses on Etsy with that same ’90s throwback vibe.
This one is only $7.20.
We like this one, also on Etsy, for $35.oo
This one is darker in tone, just like Seyfried’s. $37.00 on Etsy.
We aren’t the only ones who are obsessed with Seyfried’s ensemble.
“Amanda Seyfried isn’t just a work of art, she’s the whole museum,” wrote one Twitter user.
Even though the towering heels completed the ultra-short skort, we love that she changed into flats later.
For her film’s premiere, she changed into this va-va-voom number.
Yes, this is an Alexander McQueen jeweled garden embroidered bra top, lace paneled silk dress, and sandals. Unfortunately, we’re not sure if we can find something similar for this on Etsy. 😝
