Chanel just brought Ariel's pink dress from "The Little Mermaid" to life

Disney

When we were little, we all dreamed about being Disney princesses. We grew up with Disney characters, and we wanted to be just like them. And we REALLY wanted to see those incredible dresses in real life. Now, Hollywood makes live action movies like Beauty and the Beast, so those dreams can become a reality. Because wouldn’t it be amazing if we could wear Belle’s golden gown or rock Tinkerbell’s awesome mini-dress? Well, we’re not the only ones that think that. At Paris Fashion Week this week, the luxuriously fabulous Chanel show proved that designers want us all to be Disney princesses, too.

Chanel presented this incredibly dreamy pink gown on the runway, and we definitely know we’ve seen it before.

Model Lily-Rose Depp rocked this look like she was born for it. The puffy sleeves, cinched waist and stunning full skirt make us think of one of our favorite undersea princesses.

The Chanel dress looks exactly like Ariel’s fabulous pink dress from The Little Mermaid.

The resemblance is truly amazing. We could not have imagined a more high fashion interpretation of this iconic Little Mermaid dress.

Lily-Rose absolutely looks like a stunning mermaid who just made her debut in front of a prince. Plus, the soft ruffles remind us perfectly of the sea, so the mermaid never feels too far from her home.

All this Chanel gown needs to complete the look is a dinglehopper.

We have to bow down to Chanel for inspiring us with this Disney princess-worthy gown. It definitely makes us feel like a part of Ariel’s world.
