Okay, okay, we know florals for spring aren’t groundbreaking. But, tis the season for all things flora and we can’t not wear our favorite pattern this season. Although it may not be the most innovative of trends, there are ways to separate yourself from the rest of the blooms. Gina Rodriguez showed us how to do just that with her embroidered floral dress.

The evidence: Gina posted a boomerang to Instagram showing off a high-waisted short sleeve dress with an embroidered twist. The white piece feels updated with the added texture. And with the full skirt, it’s the perfect spring dress!

The Jane the Virgin star looked absolutely adorable in the outfit, pairing the dress with some strappy camel-colored sandals and her hair in a low pony. The best part about dresses like this? Not only are they an entire outfit in one easy piece, but they’re so low maintenance. You can dress it up, or down, and still look fabulous regardless. Add a bold lip for some extra oomph, or keep it simple like Gina and let the dress speak for itself! You can’t lose.

In case you feel like splurging on this dress, or just want something similar, we got you covered. Read on for our favorites.
