Awards season is a fashionista’s favorite time of year. We get to watch the who’s who in Hollywood deck themselves out in the latest designer fashion and fawn over the glitz and glamour of it all. Sunday’s SAG Awards provided us with oodles of killer gowns that we’ve added to our “When I’m Famous” folder.

But one of the most stunning gowns, worn by Bryce Dallas Howard, is available at your local department store. We’re not kidding.

Howard, clad in a Dress the Population red sequined gown, must have drawn inspiration from Jessica Rabbit. The body-hugging, glittering ruby dress is available at Bloomingdales for $308!

$308 is still an investment, but it’s downright affordable compared to most award show gowns, which cost thousands of dollars.

According to People Magazine, Howard is no stranger to buying her red carpet attire from department stores, as she does not have a personal stylist. She told the magazine at the Critics’ Choice Awards last year that she found it difficult “to participate in the red carpet “machine” when you aren’t a sample size.”

This method is working wonders for her.

Because of her thriftiness and willingness to shop sans designer, Howard is making waves in the Hollywood fashion world as well.

People reports that the last red carpet dress Howard purchased for the Critics’ Choice Awards was a $240 dress from Topshop. That dress sold out within 24 hours, so if you like this Dress the Population number, it’s best you act sooner than later.
