Anne Hathaway pulls off a vintage undergarment look on the cover of "Elle"
Pantone’s “greenery” may be the color of the year, but we’re still obsessed with everything pink. Who better to reaffirm this than Anne Hathaway, whose Elle cover is a blush dream. Anne stars in Elle’s April 2017 issue, gracing the cover while conjuring up images of vintage lingerie in a dusty pink corset top dress by Dolce & Gabbana.
The actress speaks on everything from motherhood to love to what it’s like being a woman in Hollywood in the issue. Anne is also a UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador and a staunch advocate for paid parental leave, which she opens up about in April’s Elle.
Anne is an example of how a woman does not have to be modest or underwhelming to be smart, responsible, and most of all, respected. She is proof that you can wear a fitted rose-hued dress and still have brains to boot, and that’s why we love her!
For her cover shoot, Anne’s makeup was simple: full brows, rose-pink lips. and a soft brown eye. Anne’s inner beauty is apparent on the cover — her stance is both powerful and confident while still remaining soft, open, and graceful. And of course, the dusty pink dress only adds to this. Sexy, seductive, and still strong. Cheers to that!
