If there was one color that was downright ubiquitous this year it was “Millennial pink.” You couldn’t scroll through Instagram for more than a nanosecond without seeing the pale shade of rose so popular with the young fashion set. Also dubbed “Tumblr pink,” it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when this color became so dang popular. It seemed to take hold overnight. But one thing is clear: Bubblegum pink has never been taken so seriously. The color used to have a sort of cutesy connotation, but now it’s got this highbrow, couture vibe. And we’d say it’s about time. So, to honor this color in all its rosy glory we’ve culled together our favorite iterations of “Millennial pink.”
