Cardi B’s favorite affordable fashion brand is launching makeup
Fashion Nova is a go-to place for people to find affordable clothes that are cute. Whether you’re looking for extreme lace-up jeans to spice up your style or want to copy Kylie Jenner, Fashion Nova has you covered. Cardi B is a huge fan of the brand and always shouts them out on Instagram. She even rapped about the retailer in her Invasion of Privacy album. So you’ll be excited to know that Fashion Nova is stepping into the beauty world. Business of Fashion reports the retailer’s makeup line will be called Nova Beauty. In an interview with the publication, Richard Saghain, the CEO, said:
"We are transforming FashionNova.com into a one-stop shop lifestyle destination."
A rep for Fashion Nova told HelloGiggles that they are planning a soft-launch later this year and early 2019.
In the meantime, you can still purchase beauty products on the retailer’s site. You can find brands like L.A. Girl, Avatāra, Bebella, and Sam Marcel (the Saghian-owned beauty line) featured online.
We have a hunch that Nova Beauty will sell affordable makeup, just like its clothes.

Saghain mentioned that he hopes Fashion Nova can expand its beauty offering drastically. So not only would Fashion Nova still feature smaller brands, but he wants to include brands that you’d see in Sephora and Ulta. More fashion retailers are going beyond clothes, and tapping into the beauty and wellness market, so it makes sense that Fashion Nova would jump on the bandwagon.
