A new “Fantastic Beasts” clip just introduced a beast that’s so cute, it gives Baby Groot a run for his money!

We just virtually met the cutest little guy ever. The latest Fantastic Beasts clip reveals a new beast, and we’re basically in love. The newest beast is one of the most prominent, yet delicate creatures who is so ridiculously adorable, we want to put him in our pockets and love him forever.

In fact, we may love him even more than Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. To be fair, though, there’s plenty of space in our hearts for ~both~ adorable little critters. 

Pickett the Bowtruckle isn’t just adorable, he was also Eddie Redmayne’s favorite beast to work with. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Redmayne admitted that he absolutely fell in love with Pickett.

"It’s really difficult because I fall in love with different ones every day," he confessed to Pottermore. "Pickett is my favorite. Pickett I adore because he’s clingy and he’s got attachment issues but I also love that he’s so spindly and stick-insecty. You almost can’t see his face but he reacts through his movement."

That does sound pretty irresistible and we can totally see why he’d love the little creature.
