Fans got pretty mad with Justin Bieber when he wouldn’t perform “Despacito” live
While fans may know the lyrics to all their favorite artists’ songs, it’s not necessarily the case that the artist does. So fans were a little mad with Justin Bieber when he couldn’t sing “Despacito” during a concert in Sweden last night (June 13th), and things got scary.
This isn’t the first time that the Biebs has not managed to sing his guest verse on the ubiquitous “Despacito,” which was originally released by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee before JB jumped on a remix. The singer previously came under fire when a video surfaced of him singing made-up lyrics for the track.

Now it seems that Bieber has come under fire from fans again for not knowing the words to the Spanish language track.
In fan recorded video from the Summerburst Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, the Biebs is seen saying that he won’t be singing the mega-hit because he doesn’t know the lyrics.
“I can’t do ‘Despacito’ because I don’t know the lyrics,” Bieber says on stage. “I can’t remember it.”

He continues to tell the crowd that he won’t be performing the track, and then things get a bit out of hand. Someone in the audience throws a bottle at Bieber’s head. Thankfully, the singer manages to dodge the flying bottle, before saying to the crowd: “Don’t throw things at me.”

Sure, we know that it can sometimes be frustrating when your favorite artist doesn’t sing your favorite song, but no one should have things thrown at them while they’re on stage. It’s dangerous and uncalled for.
Meanwhile, “Despacito” recently became one of the best-selling Latin songs in the United States, and as of May 24th the track had sales of over 2 million in the U.S. alone. Now that’s impressive.
