Feel Extra Fancy With This Trio of Nail Polishes
Is there anyone more glamorous than Elvira Hancock, (Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in 1983’s Scarface)? Her slinky silk gowns and blunt bob not only won the heart of Al Pacino’s drug lord character, Tony Montana, but also helped her to become a legit style icon to many of us today, including Kate Moss and Rihanna.
It’s no surprise that one of the flyest indie nail polish companies on the scene, Floss Gloss, decided to create a polish inspired by her called–what else–“Mrs. Tony Montana,” as part of their new fall/winter collection, Lifestyles of the Floss and Gloss. The pure white shade is reminiscent of two of Elvira’s memorable outfits in the film: a low-cut ivory nightgown and crisp white suit that only a badass like her could pull off. The set also includes “95% Angel,” a baby blue shade that brings to mind Mariah Carey vibes circa “Heartbreaker”-era, as well as a rose gold glitter named “Donatella,” after you guessed it, the one and only Versace goddess.
Now, it’s time to pop open some champagne (even if it’s a lil‘ Andre) and grab this trio of glamorous lacquers for a mani that’s nothing short of luxurious.
