Here’s How To Make Fancy AF Floral Donuts!

Donuts are the best, BUT not many would consider them ~fancy~. There are a bunch of shops that will make you donuts that will blow your mind but they are not what most would consider stereotypically “fancy,” and to us eating flowers is fancy AF!

These floral donuts are not only Instagram-worthy but you’re basically eating that flower crown from Snap dipped in sugar. The nicest part about all of this is our donuts recipe doesn’t need you to heat up anything other than your oven — that’s right BAKED rose donuts!

So, you can treat your self to these fancy floral beauties or impress the hell out of your friends when you bust these out at the next house party or classy function. Either way this video is gorgeous, and the donuts recipe is surprisingly simple and really fun to make.

Donuts

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon rose water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix dry ingredients together in one bowl, and wet in another.
Slowly add wet mix together with dry and whisk until smooth.
Pipe dough into 12.5″ x 8″ x 1″ (6 count) donut pan.

Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Allow donuts to cool in tray for 10 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.

Glaze

Ingredients:

2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons milk
Small drop of red food coloring

Directions:

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.
Dip donuts into glaze and allow to dry on cooling rack.
While drying, decorate with edible flowers or anything else that’s awesome!
