This guy adopted a family of senior dogs and other animals to let them live their best years yet
There’s nothing we love more than a sweet story about rescue animals — or any animals for that matter! But honestly, this one takes the tear-jerking cake.
After his beloved miniature Pinscher Wolfgang died, a man named Steve Griegs adopted a bunch of senior dogs, as well as cats, chickens, ducks, AND a pot-bellied pig. He told Mashable earlier this year, “I knew that this would be the beginning of the rest of my life. When any pet dies, the pain can be so intense and heartbreaking that many people will try to avoid this again at all costs. But, if when a pet dies you allow another one to live in their place, it is incredibly powerful. You have both honored your fallen pet’s life and given dignity to another that probably wouldn’t have had that opportunity.”
Okay, first of all, what's cuter than a wagon full of puppies? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
We would NEVER leave our couch if we had all these little floofers to snuggle with!
OMG! Look at the size difference between these two!
#squadgoals to the max!
Seriously, there is nothing more pure than inter-species animal friendships.
SERIOUSLY.
SQUAD GOALS.
