Facebook Messenger just got a new look, and you will love it

The new Facebook Messenger app is here (!!!), and it’s pretty awesome. Not only does it have a fun, new secret soccer game you can play, but you can also do things now like order an Uber, chat via voice messages, send and receive money, and more.

First of all, the home screen of the app is now much cleaner and easier to navigate. It’s now less of a hassle to find your most frequently-used contacts, as well as just find out who is online.

And, secondly, the chat box functions A LOT like your normal text box, which is cool. But in this box you can access a lot of services without having to toggle between apps and other screens. If you tap on the little car icon, you’ll have the option of ordering an Uber or a Lyft. And if you tap on the “…” icon, you’ll be able to access the screen where you can utilize voice messages and send your friends dinner money.

If you already use Facebook Messenger (Facebook estimates monthly users at a mind-boggling 900 million), these additions will undoubtedly enhance your experience, and if you don’t, you might find that having everything in one place is pretty convenient.
