Cowabunga: The Face Shop released a “Simpsons”-themed beauty collection

Korean beauty brand The Face Shop has blown our minds a little with their new Simpsons-themed skin care collection.

Imagine the opening notes of the Simpsons theme song…and try replacing the show’s name with “The Face Shop….” It works perfectly! And this collaboration works perfectly, too.

It isn’t the K-beauty company’s first dalliance with famous two-dimensional characters. The Face Shop recently released a Disney Princess mask collection that quickly became a fan favorite. (A foot mask inspired by Cinderella’s glass slippers? Yes, please.) Non-princess characters like Donald Duck, Sulley from Monsters Inc., and Piglet from Winnie the Pooh have also received The Face Shop treatment. Now, the family from the record-shattering animated sitcom is getting its turn.

The props stylist on this shoot deserves serious…um, props.

It wouldn’t be a Korean beauty collection without sheet masks! Not sure if they’re printed with the characters’ actual faces, but they’ll be good to refresh with after a night of drinking Flaming Homers.

There’s a variety of sunscreens featuring illustrations of the characters in swimwear. There are even tanning oils! Hopefully, they won’t turn your skin Simpsons-yellow, though the color looks fabulous on the products’ packaging.

Do we spy a mermaid Lisa? Yasss.

Cowabunga, dude!

So what’s next for The Face Shop? We’re ready for an anti-aging line featuring Patty and Selma. Maybe a line of hair dye in Marge’s signature blue….

A good Mother’s Day gift, perhaps?

The Face Shop Simpsons collection isn’t technically available outside of Korea yet, but some items have made it onto Amazon with prices starting at $7.50. Happy shopping!
