“F Hailey Bieber!” Justin Bieber Fans Chant at His Own Concert

Branded a “mean girl,” the model lost 1 million Instagram followers and her husband’s own fans.

The supposed feud between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber is heating up, and fans are getting vocal about whose side they are on — literally. During a recent Justin Bieber performance, the singer had an earful of fans chanting “F#%k Hailey Bieber!” as he began to make his way offstage.

Bieber was a surprise guest at the Rolling Loud Festival on March 4, when he stepped on stage alongside rapper Don Toliver to perform “Private Landing” from Toliver’s new Love Sick album. The crowd cheered as Bieber hyped up and thanked his co-star, but things took an ugly turn when a few audience members started dropping F-bombs with his wife’s name.

Footage of the crowd’s reaction was captured by concert goer @dvnnvt on TikTok. “Not the f*ck hailey 😂” she wrote in a text overlay. She posted the phone’s video footage a few days after the concert on March 7; the clip has since gone viral and has folks seeing just how far the Gomez-Bieber feud has come.

Alleged tensions between the two female stars began back in February 2023, after a social media upset between Gomez, Bieber, and Bieber’s bestie, Kylie Jenner.

Earlier in the day, Gomez went on her Instagram Story to show fans she “accidentally laminated her brows too much.” No one thought anything of it until Jenner shared a selfie with “this was an accident” on her eyebrows on her Story. In the next slide, Jenner posted a screenshot of her and Bieber FaceTiming and it’s a closeup of their eyebrows.

While Gomez and Jenner have publicly stated there’s “no shade” between them, fans are still taking sides. The Only Murders in the Building star has reclaimed her title as the most followed woman on Instagram receiving a surge of followers currently totaling 396 million as of this post.

Jenner was previously at the top, but after the eyebrow scandal, she’s now behind with only 380 million followers. Bieber has also allegedly lost followers as a result of the frenemy rumors as well; celebrity news fan account PopFaction calculated that the model has lost over one million Instagram followers in the recent time frame.

Another incident involving a video where Bieber appeared to be mocking Gomez’s bestie Taylor Swift became the subject of fan contention. Billboard reported that the “Lose You to Love Me” singer allegedly called Bieber a “mean girl” in the comments section of a TikTok video where the model pointed a finger at her mouth and pretended to gag at the mention of the Grammy award-winning pop singer.

“So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game,” Gomez added. The video and the comments have since been deleted.

Bieber hasn’t gone public with any statements about her feelings either way; she’s previously explained that there’s “no drama, personally,” and that “It’s all respect, it’s all love,” when podcast host Alex Cooper asked about the former love triangle drama between Gomez, Bieber, and their mutual relationship ties to Justin.

The two were also photographed being friendly at last year’s Academy Museum Gala. One thing is certain however — fans are not letting either celeb off the hook anytime soon.
