Ezra Miller donned heels, dresses, and lipstick for his Playboy shoot, and we’re so here for this
If you’re a Fantastic Beasts fan (or film buff in general), then you’re undoubtedly familiar with Ezra Miller. The 26-year-old has costarred in films like We Need To Talk About Kevin, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, and Justice League, and is quickly becoming one of the most formidable actors in young Hollywood. He’s also been crushing it on the Fantastic Beasts red carpets with his creative and gender-fluid ensembles.
And Miller is continuing to push boundaries and expectations in a recent shoot for Playboy. The actor wore “Bunny ears, fishnets, and size-14 heels, all per his request.” He also donned lipstick, jewelry, and gorgeous evening gown—often paired with more stereotypically “masculine” items, like blazers and button ups.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes video where you can glimpse all of his epic photo shoot looks.
In the accompanying interview, Miller opened up about everything from his identity as an artist to his pansexuality. He said that he had given up on trying to find one perfect romantic partner and instead prefers polyamory; he calls his group of partners the “polycule.”
"I’m trying to find queer beings who understand me as a queer being off the bat, who I make almost a familial connection with, and I feel like I’m married to them 25 lifetimes ago from the moment we meet, he said. “And then they are in the squad—the polycule. And I know they’re going to love everyone else in the polycule because we’re in the polycule, and we love each other so much.
He also delved into his experiences with past sexual abuse, saying that art saved his life, as well as touched on how The Crimes of Grindelwald serves as a metaphor for some (incredibly scary) political realities happening right now. Needless to say, we’re here for Ezra Miller, and we’re even more here for this gorgeous shoot.
