Ezra Miller got advice from Emma Watson for “Fantastic Beasts” because Hermione knows

Joining a massive and beloved franchise must be a daunting task. That’s why we’re not surprised that Ezra Miller called Emma Watson to get advice when he was cast in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Ezra is set to star as Credence Barebone in the new film, the adopted son of Mary Lou Barebone (Samantha Morton), who is the leader of the New Salem Philanthropic Society, a No-Maj (i.e. Muggle) anti-witchcraft group.
His character is said to be mysterious and trouble, and basically we’re so darn excited to see him when Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes out next week.
Of course, joining the Wizarding World must have been quite a scary thing to do. So, who better to give advice than Hermione herself, Emma Watson.
Well, if anyone were to know about something it would be Hermione Granger, right?
As Bustle reports, speaking at a New York junket for Fantastic Beasts Ezra said that he spoke to Emma to find out what it was *really* like to work with director David Yates, who also worked on the last four films in the Harry Potter series.
"When I first met him, I was like, wow this guy is extraordinarily chill, I wonder if that remains the case when the going gets tough on a major motion picture production," Ezra said. "I actually asked Emma Watson — she was one of the first people I called when this happened, and I asked, 'does he really remain so zen through the process of making a film'? And she said, 'it’s hard to believe, but yes.' "She said, 'I’ve never heard his voice go above a certain number of decibels, because he really is disciplined and centered.'"
Ezra Miller and Emma Watson worked together on the brilliant 2012 movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower, where they played siblings, Sam and Patrick.
Ezra also spoke about *really* like to become part of J.K. Rowling’s rich tapestry of work, and we’re SO DARN JEALOUS RIGHT NOW.
"The feeling of having a JK Rowling work on your email that no one else has read except for a handful of people was thrilling, to say the least," Ezra revealed. "As a Harry Potter fan, I’m extremely excited because I get how this brand new story ties into the broader wizarding world."
Ugh, WHAT A TEASE!
Not too much else is known about Ezra character of Credence Barebone, so it seems that we’re going to have to wait until the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on November 18th to find it all out. SO. EXCITING.
