This eyebrow trend has us raising our eyebrows
We know it can feel impossible to keep up with ebb and flow of the makeup world. Take this new, um, odd eyebrow trend, for instance, that’s been floating around Instagram (where else?). The whole thing admittedly sounds silly until you see it in action: Makeup enthusiasts are drawing eyebrows on their arms and wrists as a way to practice their brow skills.
We don’t know very much about this new trend, like who started it and what it’s really all about, but we do know some of these fake eyebrows are so gorgeous we’d like to adopt them as our own pls.
Whether they’re a makeup artist or someone who has a deep, deep love for eyebrows, people are showing off their brow skills on Insta, and we cannot stop staring. Take a look and see what you think.

This video was the person’s “very first #eyebrow drawing !” Their first. Seriously. It’s flawless. We feel so unaccomplished.
These artists are just using all the same makeup tools you would normally use on your actual brows — pencils, gel fillers, brushes. It’s pretty smart, really, because the more practice you get, the better you’ll get at drawing and shaping the eyebrows on your face. We just wish we had a tutorial guide of some sort, because it doesn’t look easy to create brows on a completely clean slate.
We’re in awe. We’re slightly jealous. We bow down to all the eyebrow goddesses out there.
