This is the one-minute exercise you need to do if you sit all day for work
You’ve probably heard a million times before that if you sit at a desk all day, that is very bad news for your body! You need to get up and stretch and walk around at regular intervals in order to avoid pesky back problems later on, and also just to maintain overall health and happiness.
But sometimes it’s hard to know exactly what kind of movements are the best, right? Well, look no further: this video from Alchemy Fitness (shoutout to Thrillist for finding it!) shows you how to do the Thoracic Bridge move, which is ideal for your hips and lower back.
It’s also less than one minute long, so you can definitely incorporate this routine into your day, no matter how fast-paced your job is.

As you can see, the tutorial is ridiculously simple. All you need is a small area to move in, and you’re good to go. So if you do have a job that requires you to sit down for hours at a time, or you’re in school, try taking a break to work on this exercise. Throw on some upbeat music, have a little fun.
Your body is a vehicle for movement, after all!
