Evan Rachel Wood is officially taking a break from social media, and we completely support her decision

Let’s be honest: Facebook and Instagram and Twitter can be great sources of entertainment and support, but sometimes they can be way overwhelming — especially when you need personal space.

We just heard that Evan Rachel Wood has signed off social media after revealing in a letter to Rolling Stone that she was sexually assaulted by a former boyfriend, and on a separate occasion, by a bar owner.

After sharing that letter on Twitter, she received numerous messages of thanks from other survivors, and we completely understand the need to now take some space to work through these difficult issues in private. false

We’ll definitely miss these inspiring Tweets, because no one expresses themselves quite like this actress.

It takes a lot to reveal something so personal on a platform as huge as Twitter, but Evan has always been bold and honest off-screen…

…as well as on.

While there’s no word yet on when Evan will reappear on social media, we’re sure she’ll do it all in her own time. We wish her all the best as she steps back to recharge.

In the meantime, we’re watching and enjoying you on Westworld, girl!
