Evan Peters will be back in “X-Men: Dark Phoenix,” and here’s what we know
We’ve got great news, just when you need it most: Quicksilver is back! That’s right, Evan Peters is back for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, THR reports. We’re always excited to have more mutants around — especially this quick one.
Just, so excited!
It seems like all of your favorite X-Men are back for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which will explore the storyline from the comics. The original casting announcement had the notable absence of Evan Peters, who played Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse.
But don’t worry, because he was just announced to be joining other returning mutants like Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Sophie Turner. This seriously sounds like the most fun party ever!
The crew just started filming this week in Canada, and look who they ran into? Is Justin Trudeau a mutant?! All of the ~coolest~ people are.

Here’s hoping we’ll get a lot more behind-the-scenes photos as they film.
In the comics, the Dark Phoenix storyline centered on Jean Grey and was even addressed in the third X-Men movie — X-Men: The Last Stand. But, we can’t wait to see how they tackle this storyline in the upcoming movie.
Again, especially because we know Evan Peters will be back as Quicksilver to help out. Catch X-Men: Dark Phoenix when it lands in theaters on November 2nd, 2018.
