This is the SpongeBob joke everyone used to describe Evan Peters on “American Horror Story”

American Horror Story: Spoilers.

Evan Peters finally showed up on American Horror Story: Roanoke, and the internet let out a collective YAS.

Evan is playing Edward Mott (or, the actor playing Edward Mott, but you know what let’s save that for another time), and we learn how he came to the land, how he built the Murde House, and then how he died. Also, Evan has taken a lover — his servant, Guinness — and also another lover in the form of lots and lots of paintings around the Murde House. There’s a bathtub sex scene. It’s intense. It was a lot for the internet to handle.

Now throw in the fact Edward Mott's story actually takes place some 200-ish years ago in 1782, Evan is dressed in period clothing, complete with tights, way too much makeup, and a glorious white powdered wig.

Now just because Evan is back doesn’t mean that Twitter is going to stop voicing their Evan Peters opinions to the internet. It appears as if a lot of AHS fans had the same idea at the same time:

Evan looks a lot like SpongeBob SquarePants during that one episode of SpongeBob SquarePants where SpongeBob finds a powered wig and stars wearing it.
