This epic Beyoncé parody is all about Hermione and Ron’s love

Though, it’s been more than a month since Beyoncé dropped Lemonade, giving us a lot to laugh (and cry) over, there’s still plenty to be made of the album. (Just this week, Jay Z responded to the LP in a rap verse.) Basically, as long as women are scorned, Lemonade will stay relevant.
And the latest woman deeply in need of some Yoncé magic is Hermione Granger of Harry Potter fame. Earlier this week, the folks at The Storyscape created a spot-on parody of Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” (read: yellow dress and baseball bat) that finds Hermione singing about how Ron has scorned her in their sixth year at Hogwarts.
Potter fans will recall that this is the year that Ron falls under the spell of Lavender Brown, which more or less throws Hermione into a fit of jealousy. Accordingly, she sings, “How did it come down to this? Thought our love was magic. I don’t want to lose my pride, but I’mma Crucio a witch,” and it only gets better from there.
