Here are some of the most entertaining signs from international Women’s Marches
While huge crowds of women have begun marching in Washington D.C. and all over the United States, their international counterparts have also joined in solidarity. Marches in London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Sydney, and tons of other cities have taken to the streets.
And the women are not only there in solidarity with each other and the causes they believe in. They’re also there with some extremely powerful (and often entertaining) signs.
There’s no denying the seriousness of the event itself.
But it is worth noting that you can find some humor – as many of these women have – within this serious situation.
So here are just a few of our absolute favorite signs from the many of the international marches.
Some women were powerful wordsmiths with catchy slogans.
