Emoji hair tapestries are the trend we need to make 2017 more fun
We love hair trends as much as the next person, but sometimes we just can’t keep up. Between all the different cuts and color trends out there, we don’t think our hair could withstand the damage of following every hair trend. This is why we’re obsessed with trends like hair tapestries, which don’t involve color or bleach. But regular hair tapestries are so two years ago now that emoji hair tapestries are here.
Instagram celebrity Lottie Tomlinson (and also little sister to One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson) recently got an emoji hair tapestry from famed hair salon Bleach London and we are LOVING it.

To make a hair tapestry, all you need is yarn, which you weave through your hair as if it’s needlepoint. The added emoji is probably best left to experts. Personally, we adore Lottie’s heart eyes emoji. The yellow emoji is such a stunning contrast to her silver/white hair. It is absolutely gorg.
People are already hopping onto this trend. Instagrammer lorenmiles recently posted a photo to Instagram of her own emoji hair tapestry from Bleach London.
The London-based hair salon is always at the forefront for some of the best hair trends. Needless to say, we’re hopping on a plane to London ASAP so we can get the same hair treatment from the hair experts at the salon.
Lottie’s photo has over 100,000 likes and over 300 gushing comments so we know this trend is definitely about to take off. Now, we can’t wait to see all the amazing emoji hair tapestries at Coachella this year. ?
