Emmy Rossum’s honeymoon photos are a safari dream come true
Just when you thought Emmy Rossum couldn’t get any cooler, she went on her honeymoon. After tying the knot in May, Emmy Rossum ventured on a safari for her honeymoon, and it’s like a wildlife dream come true.
On May 28th, the Shameless actress married her longtime love, Sam Esmail, in an intimate ceremony in NYC. The wedding was simple, chic, and totally sophisticated. But the couple’s honeymoon was much more about nature.
In fact, the newlyweds jetted off to the jungles — and local villages — of Rwanda!
Despite being a pair that stays away from the press and doesn’t share too many pictures on social media, their honeymoon has been well documented…thank goodness.
Seriously, as we look through both Rossum and Esmail’s Instagram accounts, we are just so amazed at all the wild animals they’re seeing.
The 30-year-old actress photographed a variety of animals on her intimate vacation, and we can’t get enough.
There were gorillas.
Fierce cheetahs.
A gorgeous sunset or two.
And the “the beautiful faces of Rwanda,” featuring locals from the mountainous area.

Truly once in a lifetime experience learning how to respect, understand and communicate with them, continuing the work of Dian Fossey," the actress captioned a gorilla video.
