Emma Watson and Tom Felton’s Harry Potter cast reunion photo is like an early Christmas gift for muggles

Happy Christmas, Potterheads! Your favorite witches and wizards are here to gift you before the holiday even arrives. A certain crew of Hogwarts students recently reunited, and we’re about as delighted as Harry was when he drank a vile of liquid luck. On December 18th, five of the Harry Potter cast members—Tom Felton, Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)—met up for what looks like some pre-holiday fun, judging by their festive outfits.

Did the Owl Post forget to drop an invite down our chimney? It must have.

We knew that Emma Watson and Tom Felton have remained pals since their days filming the Harry Potter series, meeting up for pajama-clad guitar lessons and skateboarding outings. But we didn’t realize that the rest of the cast kept in touch. It seems that Lynch, Wright, and Lewis wanted in on the post-Potter fun, and who would blame them?

Felton posted two photos of the gang on Instagram, captioning the post, “Seasons greetings from my school mates. @mattdavelewis & I mid debate x #gryfindorVSslytherin

Apparently even Hogwarts alum go up in arms over their houses, years after graduation. We’re betting Lewis won the debate, with the help of the two other Gryffindors—Watson and Wright—in attendance. The cast looks basically unchanged, besides Lynch’s missing signature ringlets and Felton’s new mustache.

Watson also posted a photo of the group to her Instagram, captioning it simply, “Merry Christmas from us ☺️”

The only thing we’d change about this photo is replacing Lewis’s cocktail with some butterbeer. Oh, and maybe add in Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint? Okay, now we’re just being greedy.

Watson’s casual caption makes us wonder if this magical crew might reunite more often than we think. Ah, to be a fly on the wall during those hangouts. We wonder if they bring their wands and assume their old characters for a while—we know we would.
