There was a mini Hogwarts reunion over the weekend, and the picture has us under its spell

Although it’s been seven years since the final Harry Potter film Accio-ed into theaters, the cast is still keeping the magic within their circle alive and remaining good friends. Our favorite Hogwarts students make it a point to get together now and then, and every single time they do it makes us super emotional. Case in point: Emma Watson, Tom Felton, and Matthew Lewis reunited this weekend, and we’re so riddikulus-ly happy we feel like our hearts could burst.

On Sunday, April 15th, Tom posted a selfie of him alongside former Harry Potter cast mates Emma and Matthew. “School mates,” he captioned the snap, along with the hashtag “#hogwartsalumni.” Seriously, how adorable is that? We’re screaming inside.

He didn’t mention why they suddenly had a mini-reunion, but since it was Emma’s 28th birthday on Saturday, they probably met up to celebrate. Our only question is…where was our invite? We’re just going to assume that it was Errol they tasked to deliver it and the invitation got lost in the mail.

As of now, the photo already racked over 800,000 likes and received a barrage of comments from Potterheads.

“Wowowow this made my day,” one fan commented. Another chimed in, “My heart has never been happier.”

There were a few standout comments though. Matthew solemnly swears that he had too much Butterbeer that night and wrote “Drunk” on the post. Meanwhile, Jason Isaacs, who starred as Draco’s dad, Lucius Malfoy, took a jab at the all-smiles photo saying, “It’s like the front cover of Orthodontist Monthly.”

We are so here for this mini-reunion, and crossing our fingers and wands that there will be more of this in the future. Maybe with Harry and Ron next time?
