Emma Watson’s goth chic gown is making us want to go out and buy something velvet ~now~

She may be starring as Belle in the upcoming live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, but Emma Watson just stunned in a goth chic black gown on the red carpet, and we are swooning over it.

Emma always keeps us on our toes when it comes to her red carpet style, constantly changing things up for the occasion. Whether she’s in a sophisticated pantsuit or looking like a real-life Disney princess in Dior, she somehow always looks equal parts edgy and elegant at the same time.

Her latest look is grown-up goth, and we are all about it.

Emma stepped out on the red carpet in NYC to attend the 2016 Museum Of Modern Art Film Benefit — A Tribute To Tom Hanks, as she’s a longtime friend of Tom and his wife, Rita Wilson. Emma even interviewed him in the April 2016 issue of Esquire, where the two talked feminism and their upcoming film, The Circle.

Emma made her black velvet gown the star of the show, pulling her hair back in a simple updo and keeping her makeup and jewelry understated. She wore a ’90s-inspired black choker and black sandals, and we are loving everything about this look.
