Emma Watson looks back on her very first red carpet and oh my gosh, it’s adorable
In exactly two weeks, Beauty and the Beast will be released into theaters and simultaneously into our nostalgic Disney hearts. As the star of the movie, Emma Watson (AKA Belle) has been on a major press tour promoting the amazingness we’re all going to witness so soon.
Watson stopped by The Ellen Show, and her appearance was exactly what we needed to get us through our Friday. Not only did she talk all things Beauty and the Beast, the actress also pulled a hilarious prank on an unsuspecting nanny. But our favorite part was hearing her discuss her very first red carpet appearance — which happened to be at the premiere of Harry Potter. Of course, Ellen DeGeneres added to the conversation by tossing in a throwback picture from the event.
And Watson was so squishy adorable!
While most people would be slightly embarrassed to look back on the outfit choice of their younger selves, Watson seemed to have no regrets.
When asked how old she was when the first Harry Potter movie came out, she said she was 10 or 11. DeGeneres asked if she remembered what she wore, to which she replied, “Oh no, I don’t know if I do.”
But she handled the walk down memory lane like a champ, and as it turns out, totally remembers the outfit.
"Oh wow...This was my first ever movie premiere, and my mom and I planned this for weeks," Watson said about her outfit. "It doesn't look like it, but there was a lot of thought that went into this. I thought I looked amazing, by the way. Bless me."

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on March 17th, which is obviously not soon enough.
