Emma Watson flipped out at the “Beauty and the Beast” premiere because of this one person
Emma Watson attended the premiere of Beauty and the Beast last week (duh, she’s Belle), and something major happened. Watson met international music legend Céline Dion and completely freaked her freak. BECAUSE CÉLINE DION, YOU GUYS!
Dion attended the premiere because not only did she sing the title track “Beauty and the Beast” from the original 1991 animated film, but she also sings a new song titled “How Does a Moment Last Forever” for the new movie. Also, she’s Céline Dion, so she can attend whatever premiere she wants.
So when Watson came face to face with Dion, who happens to be one of her idols, she was completely star-struck. (And we don’t blame her!)
Of course their meeting was captured on camera, and we’re pretty certain Watson is going to want to look back on these pics forever.
We’re not sure our hearts will go on after seeing this…
Watson discussed the life-changing encounter during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night.
"Céline Dion arrives and I’m like, holding my publicist like, ‘This is almost too much for me!’" she explained. "You have to understand, my parents do not really understand celebrities or Hollywood or whatever else, but my mom and I used to play Céline Dion in the car, like, non-stop."
Watson met a ton of people she was super excited to meet at the premiere, but she knew her mom would mostly care about Dion. “She’s gonna lose it,” Watson added. And she was right — her mom lost it. Because her mom doesn’t really know who any celebrities are, except for Céline Dion, apparently.

TBH, we would have lost it too.
