Emma Thompson is living her best life on the “Beauty and the Beast” red carpet
The only thing we love more than the fact that there’s a live-action Beauty and the Beast starring Hermione Granger is that Emma Thompson appears to be having THE BEST time on the the red carpet for this movie. Not that Emma Thompson isn’t blessedly famous in Hollywood for being 100% herself and living her best life at all times, but like, looking at pictures of her on the Beauty and the Beast red carpet, she definitely took it to the next level. Or she had a few drinks beforehand, both are fine!
Either way, we support her and her decisions completely in every facet of her life, always and completely (that might be overkill but the point still stands).
In case you didn’t know, Emma Thompson will be playing Mrs. Potts so not only will we be hashtag blessed by her presence in the film itself, but we were also SO blessed by her presence on the red carpet. Exhibit A.
She just looks so happy? And when Emma Thompson is happy, we’re all happy, because she’s frankly the best representative for the species we as humanity possess. Exhibit B.
There was a period of time during which she looked kind of confused and concerned, and we can basically hear her voice saying something simultaneously witty, scathing, and absolutely endearing to whomever caused her confusion.
We would also be remiss if we didn’t mention the fact that she looked ABSOLUTELY RADIANT. Lady, WHAT is your skincare routine and can we have detailed account of how to replicate it because the G L O W is real.
She also met a cool naked statue on the carpet, and didn’t quite know what to make of it.
Being the ? human that she is, she tried to help cover up the statue. SO SWEET, EMMA.
Basically this whole article is for the sole purpose of pointing out that Emma Thompson is basically perfect and, also, basically acted like we’d probably act if somebody put us on the red carpet for Beauty and the Beast. We literally cannot wait to see her bring this joy, energy, and frankly unparalleled wit to Mrs. Potts.
