Emma Stone wore rainbow eyeshadow, and now we want to throw away our black liner
The holidays are a time when many of us don classic looks — LBDs, sparkles, red lips, and winged black eyeliner — and gather with friends to celebrate the season. But this year has been cray cray, so we figure now is the perfect time to switch up our beauty game and embrace the spirit of 2016! Emma Stone and her rainbow eyeshadow offered us some serious inspiration this week, so we’re well on our way to conquering new beauty terrain.
The actress stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of La La Land (which cannot hit theaters fast enough!) wearing a beautiful blue Prada dress and bright eye makeup to match. With blue liner on her lower lid and a streak of purple up top, we’re itching to recreate this look for our next holiday party.

Emma’s makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, called the look “night sky eyes” on Instagram — we can’t really think of anything more romantic than that. She added, “This has to be one of my favorites ever!” and we couldn’t agree more. It’s totally ideal for the premiere of a hearts-aflutter movie like La La Land.
