Emma Stone’s new hair color is a summer trend we’ve always wanted to try
Emma Stone is here, there, and everywhere when it comes to her hair color — and we love it. After playing around with a lighter version of her signature red, Emma Stone decided to go back to her roots for the summer season. Her new blonde color is the perfect fit for the warm weather, and she’s inspiring us to hop on this hair trend!
Stone debuted her new warm platinum ‘do at the American Film Institute’s 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton. The natural-born blonde rocks this one-toned shade, and under different lights, the color takes on a different hue.
For example, Stone’s hair looks borderline peachy in this photo —
— but in this photo, her hair takes on more of a yellow tone.
Both shades are stunning and we must know how Stone got this chameleon platinum hair!
According to Vogue, Stone was able to lighten her hair from deep auburn by doing so gradually. That strawberry blonde she rocked while filming her latest flick, The Favourite, was the perfect transition shade between dark and light.
It’s important to let the hair breathe and recover in between processing. Going platinum blonde can cause a lot of damage if done too quickly.
We recommend you seek the help of a professional hair colorist if you’re looking to crossover to the light side. They can make sure your hair stays as healthy as possible during the transition.
Stone must know and live by the old saying — blondes have more fun (in the summer sun)!
