Emma Stone is so beautifully mature about her ex, Andrew Garfield
If you’re still not over the breakup of Hollywood golden couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, your heart is going to break a little bit more when you hear what Emma had to say about her ex. These two dated on and off for the better part of four years, and they were so low-key, that we didn’t even know when they’d taken a break in April 2015. Unfortunately, it seems the couple called it quits for good last October, and we’re honestly still mourning the loss — they were just so cute together.
Now, Emma is back on the scene to promote her upcoming movie, La La Land, with Ryan Gosling, and she’s looking absolutely stunning on the November cover of Vogue. (That pixie cut!) When Emma was asked about Andrew in the interview, she was so mature about it, our hearts kinda broke all over again.
Both Emma and Andrew are notoriously private, so it’s not surprising that she didn’t give too many details about him specifically or their split, but she kept it short and sweet. Of her ex, she says he’s “someone I still love very much,” adding that this past year was “interesting” for her.
Emma says, “It’s been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons.”
Aw, girl. Here’s hoping that the rest of the year brings all good things to Emma — she’s always been one of our favorite cool girls, and she deserves the utmost happiness for sure.
