Emma Stone is an actual hair chameleon, and we have the photo evidence
Emma Stone is a true chameleon. She is one of those actresses who can completely change her entire appearance and dissolve into a character she’s playing. And a hairstyle switch-out can really help to drive the whole transformation home. In Battle of the Sexes, the Oscar winner darkened her hair to play Billie Jean King, but this is hardly the first time the natural blonde has switched up her look.
Here are Emma Stone’s most dramatic hair transformations.
1Golden blonde
At the premiere of Battle of the Sexes in September 2017, Emma showed off a golden blonde haircut that contrasted sharply with her dark eyebrows. This is a far cry from the brown 70s-style shag cut she sports in the movie.
2Chocolate brown
For the 2016 Met Gala, Emma Stone looked nearly unrecognizable as a brunette. However, the warm, dark brown color worked well with her skin tone and made her blue eyes pop.
3Copper red
At the London La La Land gala screening in January 2017, the actress’s hair was a vibrant copper color with brown roots that contrasted beautifully with her burgundy lipstick.
4“Ronze,” aka reddish bronze
Emma looked super adorable at the 2014 Revlon Run Walk For Women in NYC with reddish-colored, ombre hair and long bangs that fell into her eyes.
5Sandy blonde
Emma Stone debuted a sandy blonde, shoulder length hairstyle at the Los Angeles premiere of Gangster Squad in January 2013.
6Strawberry blonde
At the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in March 2012, the actress looked lovely with long strawberry blonde locks.
7Ash blonde
Emma pulled her light, ash blonde hair into an updo for the 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in January 2011.
8Amber
Reddish-brown hair looks so natural on Emma! She donned this look for the GQ Men of the Year Party in November 2009.
9Chestnut brown
Back in 2006, Emma attended a Replay Los Angeles store opening, and her hair was long and a dark chestnut brown color.
