Emma Stone just channeled “Frozen” on the red carpet and we can’t let it go

Just when we thought Emma Stone couldn’t impress us anymore with her fashion sense, she did — on the red carpet at the 73rd Venice Film Festival at the Palazzo del Casino in Italy on August 31.

She wore Atelier Versace’s custom-made, glittery, and fringed floor-length dress, looking like a true princess. Is it just us, or did she channel Frozen in the process?!

And, yep, we can’t let it go. (We know, we know…)

Here’s another angle.

Stone paired the dress with metallic sandals from Jimmy Choo and jewelry from Selim Mouzannar. Overall, a perfect jazz era look, amirite?

ICYMI, Stone was at the festival on behalf of the film La La Land, a Hollywood-set musical where she plays an aspiring actress who falls for a jazz pianist (played by none other than Ryan Gosling). The film was written and directed by Damien Chazelle, who directed Whiplash, among other movies.

And Stone just won the Volpi Cup for best actress.

“I wish I was back there because Venice and Italy are so amazing and I can think of no better place than Venice to have premiered La La Land,” Stone said in a pre-taped speech, according to The Hollywood Reporter — she was on her way to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).  “I have to thank Ryan Gosling for being my partner on this movie, and especially Damien Chazelle for casting me. It was a dream come true.”

To us, Stone’s not just a winner for La La Land, but also for her sense of style.

Nope, we still can’t — and won’t — let it go.
