Emma Stone’s dress makes it look like she’s covered in the nighttime sky

Emma Stone looked like a literal star at the 69th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. Wearing a decadent and sparkly Louis Vuitton gown, the actress — along with her La La Land co-star Ryan Gosling — presented the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film award to Damien Chazelle, director of La La Land.

The duo looked perfectly glamorous at the award ceremony held in Beverly Hills. And while Emma Stone’s beaded silver and black number stole the show, Ryan still kept his own in his immaculately tailored Bottega Veneta suit.

But let’s be honest, we couldn’t stop staring at Emma’s gown.

Just look at them!!

The embellished gown featured the sweetest keyhole cut-out, plenty of bling, and a simple sleeveless silhouette. Worn with a simple, nude lip and her classic red hair, Emma’s look was radiant and effortless.

Her co-presenter decided on a more classic and under-the-radar approach to his look. Ryan kept his own look clean and sharp, opting for a sleek suit with a narrow lapel and matching skinny tie. In contrast to Emma’s opulent gown, Ryan’s only accessory was a tie pin.

While we condone Ryan on his excellent suit, we’re really here for Emma. As if being a movie star wasn’t enough, she’s taken the cue literally, stealing our hearts with her supernova light.
