Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling joked about celebrating their Golden Globe wins by taking off their Spanx, and we can’t blame them

You’ve probably heard by now that La La Land totally dominated the Golden Globes last night. And even better, every single award they snagged was incredibly well deserved. While so many people made the film spectacular, the chemistry between Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling truly helped the film stand out from the rest. And, their responses to a certain line about Spanx last night proves they’re totally on the same page off-screen, as well.

The two were interviewed at the E! After Party, which happened right after the awards wrapped up.

The fact that they’re still so over the moon about the night shortly after the event is truly sweet. Of course, now that everything is said and done, it’s time for Stone and Gosling to kick back, relax, and remove their restrictive undergarments — right?

"I'm not wearing Spanx, but Ryan has full-body Spanx," Stone joked. "A wetsuit."

While we don’t know for sure what’s happening under there for either of them (and hey — celebrities totally have a right to keep that a secret) we do love the fact that Gosling goes right into the joke.

"I can undo them? Ugh, thank god!" Gosling said.

If you’ve ever worn Spanx before, you’ll probably agree with his funny reaction. While they can boost your confidence, they’re not the most comfortable formal wear accessory.

Spanx aside, the real question here is, when can these two do another movie together? With La La Land being their third, they’ve proven that they can truly make a film shine. While the two are still just coming off the press tour for this big hit, we’re still hoping that they get to work together again in the (very) near future.
