Emma Roberts and Evan Peters’ Halloween costume is a callback to “American Horror Story: Coven”
Halloween may be over but our favorite celebs are still sharing some of their best costumes from both Halloween weekend and the main event — and Emma Roberts and Evan Peters just won over our witchy heart.
As per usual celebrities went all out this Halloween season. Kim Kardashian West had three costumes, each honoring an iconic singer, your new Stranger Things boyfriend Joe Keery channeled his inner Harry Potter, and the Harris/Burtka upped their game with American Horror Story: Freak Show costumes.
But they weren’t the only couple giving us AHS vibes with their costumes. AHS power couple Evan Peters and Emma Roberts were serving up serious Coven looks in a photo Roberts posted to Instagram. Peters wore a long blonde wig with a large witch hat, while Roberts looked adorable in a cute mini witch hat and the duo completed the look with black attire and their best Tyra smize.
“Happy Halloween from one wetch to another,” the Scream Queens actress wrote, alongside the photo.
While we don’t know for *sure* that the two were purposefully channeling AHS: Coven we wouldn’t be surprised if the couple did throw it back to the third season of AHS. The third season of the anthology series, which back premiered in 2013, was the first season the duo worked on together after meeting on the set of 2012 indie Adult World. While it was Peter’s third season on the series, it marked Roberts’ first foray into the world of Ryan Murphy anthology series. The two have subsequently become key members of his repertory players.
We love the simplicity of the costume, proving you don’t have to go all in to look flawless on Halloween.
