Emily Blunt and John Krasinski won’t reveal a major detail about their first date—and we have questions

Just in case you needed another reason to believe that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are the cutest couple in the world, please enjoy this delightful story about their first date…even if it does come with a few details we need explained ASAP.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Krasinki and Blunt opened up about the beginning of their relationship, which feels so long ago considering they’ve been total #RelationshipGoals for almost a solid decade. Krasinski said that although Blunt “took some time,” she eventually agreed to hang out with him, and their first date involved pizza, so already it sounds pretty amazing.

But they didn’t give away the whole first date story—in fact, Krasinski apparently held back one specific detail because he didn’t know if he was allowed to share it. Then Blunt said it was something so special, she didn’t want to bring it up publicly. The intrigue!

The article says:

Their first evening together involved pizza and his apartment in West Hollywood, and, based on the amount of time Krasinski is taking to answer this question, something else that he isn't sure if he's allowed to share. During his long pause, Blunt pulls a strand of her blond hair off Krasinski's sweater, calls him "Kras," and declares, "It's so precious, I don't want to talk about it. Is that all right?"

Okay, so now we have questions. What could they have done in Krasinski’s apartment that’s too “precious” to mention? Not that—get your minds out of the gutter. Did Krasinski pull out a guitar and sing her a song he’d written himself? Did they make a pact to get married on that first night? Did he act out his favorite Jim Halpert moments from The Office? We need to know.

As much as our curiosity has been piqued here, we have to admit that it is pretty sweet that there are parts of their relationship they keep completely private. Maybe that’s one of the secrets to their relationship’s longevity?
