We have pics of Emilia Clarke in her new horror movie — and they look NOTHING like Khaleesi

It’s sad, but it’s true: Game of Thrones won’t be back until forever, and we all just have to deal.

However, these pics of Emilia Clarke in Voice From the Stone, her first ever horror movie, are a firm reminder that there is hope for GoT fans before Season 7 premieres next summer. Debuting on April 28, Voice From the Stone will give us a chance to see Clarke in a whole new light months before Daenerys Targaryen (finally) lands in Westeros — though if you’re expecting to see her glammed up Khaleesi-style in this one, think again.

Her character, Verena, looks NOTHING like Daenerys.

Instead of dragons, Verena actually hangs out with children.

The movie is set in an isolated castle in Tuscany in the ’50s, which sounds pretty nice right about now, tbh.

Verena is a nurse, and she’ll come to the castle to help its mute young heir, the little boy seen above — but apparently, she’ll also find romance along the way.

But Verena should be careful — according to Momentum Pictures, “Verena becomes convinced [the boy] has fallen under the spell of a powerful and otherworldly persona trapped in the villa’s stone walls, one that seems to be rapidly entwining with her own.”

Yep, this looks like danger to us.

Never trust the glamorous old lady in a horror movie, girl.

We’ll totally see this one anyway, though — because of Emilia, but also because the setting looks spooky and romantic as hell.
