Emilia Clarke is set to star in a romantic comedy that already has studios buzzing

We’re already weeping about Game of Thrones eventually ending, but we’re so happy that the show’s biggest stars are booking other projects well in advance. The latest to boost up her resume is our favorite queen of dragons. Emilia Clarke will be starring in a romantic comedy that’s an adaptation of a popular Korean film.

Called The Beauty Inside, we’re familiar with the plot and think Clarke is an ideal choice.

The film focuses around a man who wakes up on a daily basis in a different body. Despite this obstacle, he tries his hardest to maintain a connection with the love of his life, which we’re guessing will be played by Clarke in the American reboot. Sounds intriguing, right?

To get more of a feel for this upcoming film, here’s the trailer for the original:

Wow. We know our rom-coms, but have never seen anything that even comes close to that kind of story!

Studios have been more than excited about this adaptation, as there was a bit of a bidding war going on. The winner? Fox 2000. They actually beat out five other studios for the rights, and signed a deal for $2 million.

If for some reason you’re still not sold, here’s another factor that’ll make this movie incredible — it’s being written by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, the guys who helped bring us The Fault In Our Stars.

If you loved shedding tears over that John Green adaptation, you’ll probably be a fan of The Beauty Inside.

Obviously the film is still in its early stages, but we can’t wait to hear even more about this project!
