Ellie Kemper is writing a book, and we can’t wait to read every page!

Ellie Kemper is our queen. She totally crushed the first half of 2016. Season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt came out on Netflix, and she announced the super exciting news that she and her husband are expecting their first child together. As if things couldn’t get any better, it was just announced that the actress is writing a book!

Yes, Kemper is adding her name to the list of funny women who have penned memoirs. Her book will be a collection of stories from her life, covering everything from her childhood in St. Louis to her career as an actress. The still-untitled project will hit shelves in 2018.

Scribner, the publishing company making Kemper’s book possible, describer her writing style as “relatable, unexpected, insightful and hilarious.” We’re totally here for that! We’re so, so excited that the leading lady is adding “published author” to her list of accomplishments, and can’t wait to pre-order her book ASAP.
