Ellen Pompeo aced Jimmy Kimmel’s quiz about medicine

Actress Ellen Pompeo has made a name for herself on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy. Having played a doctor on the show since 2005, Jimmy couldn’t help but wonder how much medical knowledge Ellen has picked up along the way, so he decided to conduct a quick-fire quiz based entirely on random medical tools and equipment.

While Ellen doesn’t actually have any medical qualifications, she did pretty well considering. Since she’s had to handle these objects for most of her career, it’s basically like she’s an honorary doctor.

At least, she’s more of a doctor than we are, since she knows words like “hemostat” and “nebulizer,” but I wouldn’t want her to come near me with a “rib spreader” any time soon. We’re much more content to watch all her doctoring safely on the show!
