Ellen Pompeo dancing with her new baby son is giving us so very many Monday feels
Maybe we have a serious case of the Mondays, or maybe it’s just the new year, but we’re feeling all the feelings today. Some celebs aren’t making it any easier to keep it together, too. For example, Ellen Pompeo is “boy crazy” for her new son and we can’t stop saying, “aww.” Pompeo had her new baby only a few days ago, and we were shocked. (We didn’t know the Grey’s Anatomy star was even expecting, and it seems, neither did many people.)
After all that secrecy, though, Ellen Pompeo shared her baby’s name and pic on Instagram – and it melted our hearts.
When Pompeo gave birth to Eli Christopher, her rep told Us Weekly that, “Family and baby are all doing great.” And now, we can see for ourselves!
After all, it seems Pompeo won’t be stopped. Today she treated her fans to a video of herself dancing around with her new baby, Eli Christopher. She captioned the it with a New Year’s message, too: “Boy Crazy....Here's to a year filled with happiness and love! Happy New Year ❤️🌎❤️

Ellen Pompeo looks totally blissed out on motherhood. That’s pretty impressive considering that she and husband Chris Ivery already have two other children: Stella Luna, 7, and Sienna May, 2. Honestly, it’s inspiring to see how joyful she is.
In the video, Eli Christopher seems a little confused about what’s going on. His big eyes and bemused expression are giving us life; we could watch the video all day. (And we just might.)
We can forgive Pompeo’s secrecy over her pregnancy if she keeps sharing pictures and videos like these. After all, we don’t want her to keep all that cuteness to herself. Plus, she wished her followers a happy new year — and more photos of Eli Christopher would certainly help!
