Ellen and Portia finally have a (puppy named) Kid!

One of our favorite pairs of celebrity lovebirds, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, have a new addition to their family. And it’s a kid! Well, um, a puppy named Kid.

His name is Kid so, as Ellen put it, she and wife Portia can now say they have a kid and hopefully people will stop bugging them about, well, kids.

Nine-week-old Kid joins older siblings Augie and Wolf, the couple’s other two dogs so the state of the household is full. DeGeneres is a longtime supporter of rescuing animals and has done so herself, while also supporting organizations like START Rescue. In an interview with Modern Dog Magazine, she said, “I cannot imagine not going home to animals. They are the closest thing to God.”
