Elisabeth Moss and Lupita Nyong’o may star in Jordan Peele’s next horror movie, and everything about this feels right
Ever since we experienced Jordan Peele’s mega-hit Get Out, we’ve been patiently waiting for the award-winning director to release details about his next project. Well, he did…and boy did he deliver. It looks like Lupita Nyong’o and Elisabeth Moss might be joining forces to star in Peele’s upcoming movie, titled Us.
According to TheHollywoodReporter.com, the script, which was also written by Peele, centers around two couples – one white and one black. Sources say Peele is currently in talks with Moss and Nyong’o to play the film’s co-leads, and Black Panther star Winston Duke is also being considered for a role. If cast, Nyong’o and Duke will play one couple, while Moss and a yet-to-be-determined fourth actor will play the other.
The project is so under-wraps that Peele tweeted out a poster on Tuesday, May 8th, with simply the word Us. The eerie poster also includes two silhouettes staring away from each other and a tagline that promises “a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award winner Jordan Peele.” The film is expected to hit theaters in March 2019.

Peele teased his second feature back in February, saying his favorite thing to do is play around with thriller, horror, and action genres.
"That's my sweet spot. So I think tonally it should resemble Get Out. That said, I want to make a completely different movie. I want to address something different than race in the next one," he told THR.
No other plot details – other than the fact that Us is a horror film – has been revealed. However, considering that it’s coming from the mind that brought us Get Out, we’re excited AF.
It’s far too early to call this film an Oscar contender, but any movie that involves Jordan Peele, Lupita Nyong’o, and Elisabeth Moss is already pretty formidable.
