Eddie Redmayne just saw a clip of himself singing “Memory” from “CATS” and tried to disappear from the face of the earth
Eddie Redmayne has proven repeatedly that he can sing: after all, we all saw his amazing performance in Les Miserables. But during his appearance on The James Corden Show, Eddie Redmayne watched himself sing “Memory” from Cats. He was less than thrilled. We don’t know why! Eddie Redmayne is as adorable as he is sexy. (And don’t get us started on the fact that he has some adorable brothers. We wonder if they are Hufflepuffs as well?)
Eddie Redmayne’s singing ability just makes him all the more sexy!

He and James Corden first shared some memories of their experiences as kids at the Jackie Palmer Stage School. (They both attended the same school around the same time.) It sounds like they had a blast together.
As he explained:
"I remember going and there would be these concerts and theatre pieces and I didn't really have any friends and I would sing because I was obsessed with singing then and I'd be the guy who sang like Memory from Cats while James would be like rapping and doing street dance and genuinely I was a bit scared of it."
We wonder if young Eddie Redmayne realized he’d one day be the star in part of one of the largest franchises in movie history ever: Harry Potter. Eddie Redmayne’s role as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is career-making. If his “Memory” singing self could see him now! Surprisingly enough, Eddie Redmayne recently told Us Weekly that he got “complete stage fright” when playing Newt:
“I picked up the wand, and then I got complete stage fright! I was like, ‘Wait a second, I’ve always thought that I’d be a natural with a wand, but I’m completely not!’
Oh, he is. Just look at those dimples. When paired with his voice… now that’s true magic, wizard or not.
